Dr. Dan R. Spinato, D.C.
Doctor of Chiropractic
Since 1984, through our Chiropractic services on Carmel Mountain Road, we have helped thousands of patients suffering from acute and chronic conditions. Our unique integrative treatment approach corrects the underlying cause(s) of our patients’ pain and discomfort. Our emphasis is on a natural approach to health through chiropractic care and good nutrition. We also offer Heart Rate Variablity Testing to assess the status of your nervous system.
I am a graduate of Cleveland Chiropractic College of Los Angeles. While in Chiropractic College, I had classes that taught me the philosophy, art and science of Chiropractic. Dr. D.D. Palmer, who is the father of chiropractic (founded in 1895), said the main causes of illness and pains are: Physical, Chemical, and Emotional stress. Our integrative approach looks at these three stress categories.
Over the years, we have helped many patients in Carmel Valley, San Diego and beyond achieve their health goals with great results. I treat patients like I want to be treated, nothing more nothing less. We are conservative with our care plans and accept only those patients who we genuinely feel we can help. If we can’t help you, we will tell you and refer you to someone who can.
I feel it is important to walk the talk when it comes to health. If I am going to ask my patients to work hard and establish healthy habits, I need to lead by example. I get my spine checked and adjusted on regular basis for maintenance and prevention. Additionally, good diet, whole food supplements, regular exercise and adequate sleep are all essential parts of my life and part of our holistic approach to patient treatment.
“Thanks for visiting our site”. I look forward to meeting you in person and learning how we can help you with your health care needs.
Dr. Chloé Lightner, D.C.
Doctor of Chiropractic
I graduated from Life Chiropractic College West (East Bay, California) in December 2021 with magna cum laude honors. I am thrilled to be back in San Diego working with my father, Dr. Dan Spinato, and bringing hope and healing to everyone who walks through our doors.
Chiropractic is more than an occupation, it’s a lifestyle.
I was fortunate to grow up with my father as a Chiropractor. The chiropractic lifestyle, which promotes taking care of your body through adjustments, nutrition and supplements, exercise, sleep, and mindfulness has always been a priority in my life. Looking back, I was fortunate to not suffer from chronic sicknesses, missed school days, or major sports injuries because I received regular chiropractic care and proper nutritional support to keep my body and immune system strong.
My passion is for people to experience a similar liberation of having a thriving body. I have found that chiropractic care is essential to our bodies’ wellness and longevity. The nervous system controls every cell and function of the body, and when it is free of interferences, there will be a proper brain-body connection.
In my practice, I take an individualized and integrative approach to each patient’s treatment plan. I welcome patients of all ages and stages of life, from newborns to the elderly. My priority is to actively listen and work with my patients to get them achieving their health goals.
Wellness occurs when the body is balanced structurally, chemically, and emotionally.
I am also a huge believer that “movement is life”. I love new adventures, traveling, cooking, being outdoors soaking up the sun’s vitamin D, and physical outlets like triathlon training, surfing, yoga, and skiing. I look forward to meeting you soon, learning your story, and partnering with your wellness journey.
